More than 20 Years of Expertise in Behavioural and Developmental Intervention

 

At Easy Steps, we believe effective intervention should do more than teach isolated skills. It should help children communicate, participate, develop independence and use their skills successfully in everyday life.

With more than 20 years of experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), our team provides individualised, evidence-informed programmes for children with autism, learning difficulties and related developmental needs.

In 2015, Easy Steps established The Blooming Tree ABA Clinic, creating a dedicated environment for intensive, individualised ABA intervention.

We subsequently established The Blooming Tree , our Exceptional Ofsted-registered specialist primary school in London.

Today, our multidisciplinary team brings together Behaviour Analysts, ABA practitioners, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other professionals to provide coordinated support around each child.

About Us

With more than 20 years of experience on implementing ABA programmes, we had the vision of creating a structured environment with a multidisciplinary team, where we could offer 1:1 ABA clinical-based treatment, providing an efficient and structured way for a child with autism to be taught, faster and more consistently, skills that are functional and can empower the child to live a more independent and fulfilling life at home, in school and the community.  

Our Focus

We work closely with parents, carers, tutors, OTs, SLTs and teachers in order to structure the most suitable programme for children of all ages (from 12 months to 11 years old), so that they can develop essential skills, including communication, language, play, social interaction skills, self-help, academic skills etc., in a friendly learning environment. Our focus is on teaching functional skills, which can generalise in the children’s natural environment.

TRANSFORMING THE LIVES OF CHILDREN WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES LIKE SEMH & AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS (ASD) AND THEIR FAMILIES

In practice, a behaviour analytic programme for learning difficulties focuses on teaching small, measurable units of behaviour in a systematic way. Every skill that a child does not demonstrate is broken down into small steps. Task analysis and positive reinforcement have been pioneered and extensively developed and evaluated by this science. We have developed our services and function in exactly the same way.  This will be achieved by:

  • Designing, implementing and monitoring home-based behavioural interventions.
  • Developing behaviour plans and ABA programmes as well as providing consultation - to reduce for example, problem behaviours - to both mainstream schools and special schools of children with difficulties.  
  • Educating teachers, parents and other healthcare professionals anywhere in the world so that they can benefit from the knowledge and methods derived from the science of behaviour analysis.  
  • Employing and incorporating latest technological advancements into successful interventions targeting the transformation of the lives of children.
